NZ Arb Assn

NZ Arb is a national, non-profit organization for arboriculture within New Zealand, and was formed in 1989 in response to a growing demand for a national body to represent the industry.

Trees are living organisms that need appropriate management and care to ensure their safety, longevity and continued contribution to the New Zealand landscape, so NZ Arb have the intention to be the foremost organization for arborists in the country and to encourage, foster, improve and educate in all aspects of arboriculture in NZ.

Silky Store NZ currently sponsor the tree-climbing competitions that NZ Arb run throughout the country and help out by donating Silky Saw prizes to the participants.
